Baked Pork Chops on Rice

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Salt and pepper the pork chops.
- Sear the chops in a hot pan in just enough vegetable oil to keep them from sticking.
- Place the remaining ingredients in a baking dish, and top with the pork chops.
- Cover and cook in oven for 1 hour.
